What is the Bestiary?
The Bestiary Lit Mag was founded in November of 2022 by A.L. Davidson (she/they) after a successful inaugural venture into the monsterlover world via a Kickstarter campaign. It helped fund the printed version of a Minotaur themed, queer erotic-horror short story they wrote the summer prior.

After falling in love with the genre and the indie lit mag community, Al decided to take the plunge and create a little lit mag of her own. Thus, The Bestiary was born to inspire and celebrate all things monstrous and romantic.
Our Mission
To uplift and celebrate the monsterlovers through art and literature with offerings from the indie creator community. We will share stories of romance and erotica that focus on the interactions between humans and beasts of all kinds. This is an inclusive lit mag and it will heavily - and proudly - promote stories by, for, and about diverse, inclusive, and underrepresented voices through art, poetry, prose, and comics.
